Topçu Restaurant

Had a wonderful family dinner here! We’ve lived in Turkey before and were looking for traditional Turkish grilled meats and staple dishes. Service was very attentive, outside was comfortable even in 90+F heat but we opted for inside with air conditioning. Every person enjoyed their meal - köfte, sis kebab, mixed grill were delicious, lamacun and kisarli pide just what we expected and the lentil soup was divine. Generous portions. Spent about $20 per person without alcohol - probably more than other places but we expected that since it is near the waterfront. Great location to walk off dinner along the water after!

5 out of 5 hands down!!! Probably the best in Izmir, it won our hearts (my wife and I) almost immediately. Speed of service is simply remarkable, taste is superb, display is normal but I took it positively, so did my wife... The seating arrangements and theme is normal and simple, (very simple actually) , probably that's why it's popular . It was busy at 12.30 am when we arrived and continued to be busy when we lift at 1.20 am.(Mashallah). Price for what saw was 381 TL, I think this is very reasonable. Highly recommended for families, or couples, boys or girls night out.

Great service. Nice food and busy restaurant near to Izmir Marriott and other hotels nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Adana Kebab, Tavuk Sote, Chicken with Basil sauce, Kunafa and Cay.

Best kabab place in Izmir. It was recommended by our hotel and this was really different. Serhat was very smart and kind person who helped us to choose our order..

I have been to this restaurant several times, which is often one of the best in Izmir. The food is good, on the other hand, the only thing that I noticed in a more unpleasant way is the prices that exploded. You can't give 500 TL on Iskender, when you get less than 300g of meat. There are restaurants that still have reasonable prices of 300 TL for meat products.

Very delicious food. I ordered grilled chicken breast and rice seasoned only with salt (for health reasons). I don't know if they were on the menu but the staff was very friendly.760,00 TL(16€)

There are so many good places to eat in Izmir, but this is one of the absolutely best. This place has been around for quite a few decades, it has been famous for good food throughout the years. Service is super. Food is great. They do everything to cater to your needs. Prices are in the mid range. One of our party has a milk allergy, but this is thoroughly taken care of. Which is not always the case in Turkey or the rest of the world. Especially want to thank Serhat but also wants to mention the whole team for making dinner a great experience . We stay in Izmir for 10 days this time, and have visited already three times. And going back tomorrow. If you’re staying in the Central Alsancak area this is the perfect place to have dinner with traditional Turkish food. If you’re based outside of this area, I would absolutely suggest a detour to experience this place. Easily reached with the Tramway to the stop Gazi Bulvarı and walking about five minutes.
